Avanell is named after my mother-in-law, who was also a jewelry maker. She was self-taught and inspired me to believe that creating beautiful things was something I could do too.  When her materials and tools were passed down to me, the creative seed took root.

What began as gifts for family and friends grew into a business driven by word of mouth, craft shows and a growing community of repeat buyers.

Avanell specializes in unique, one-of-one, handcrafted polymer clay earrings, with additional work in wire-wrapped crystals and other semi-precious stone pendants.

 

I consider each piece a small, functional work of art and take pride in each unique piece that I create.  I strive to produce varied pieces without duplication, so that no two pairs are exactly the same. To me, that is the beauty of handcrafted jewelry.
