Are all pieces handcrafted?
Yes! I (Trasheil) create each piece or pair entirely by hand, meaning no two pairs will ever be exactly the same. I consider every piece to be a small, functional work of art with its own unique color, shape, and imagination...it is up to the customer to continue its story.
What materials are used in the jewelry?
Avanell jewelry explores the compelling interplay between natural and modern elements. Each design is anchored with foundational mediums, like premium polymer clay and elevated with subtle decorative accents.
For the chains, Avanell selects 14k gold-plated or silver-plated solid brass cores, as well as fluid .925 sterling silver-plated copper snake chains. When defining structural framework or securing semi-precious stones, I use premium copper wires, silver-plated wires, and specialized tarnish-resistant sculpture wires.
What type of earring hardware is used?
Avanell fish-hook style earring wires and hooks are made from a sturdy brass base and finished with high-quality 14k gold-tone plating or .925 sterling silver plating. For the mixed-media stud designs, the walnut and resin elements are fitted with clean stainless steel pins.
Due to the inherent nature of these materials, slight variations in color, shape, size, and texture are to be expected and are celebrated as unique characteristics of each piece. By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these minor variations.
WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING & RETURN POLICY?
Avanell currently ships domestically to the continental US and offers Priority Mail flat-rate shipping via the US Postal Service. Please note that all orders received will be processed and shipped on the following Saturday of each drop, and items should typically arrive within 5–7 days from the shipping date.
Returns or exchanges cannot be accepted. However, customer satisfaction is incredibly important, so please feel free to reach out directly if there is ever an issue with an order.
DO YOU TAKE CUSTOM ORDERS?
Avanell welcomes the opportunity to collaborate on custom designs that align with the brand’s distinct elemental aesthetic. Because each piece requires dedicated time, artistry, and material curation, custom projects are accepted selectively on a case-by-case basis depending on design alignment, scope, and minimum budget requirements. HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?
To keep these delicate and special pieces looking beautiful and to preserve the finish of the metals and wires, please follow these care tips:

Keep dry: Please avoid wearing Avanell jewelry while showering, swimming, sleeping, exercising, or during any steam-filled adventures.

Avoid chemicals: Keep pieces free from contact with harsh chemicals, perfumes, or lotions.

Wipe gently: If clay earrings get a bit dusty, simply wipe them down with a soft, damp cloth.

Shine the metal: For a light refresh on the metal findings, hooks, or chains, gently polish them with a soft, dry jewelry polishing cloth to keep them sparkling.

Store smart: Tuck jewelry safely into the provided dust baggie and keep it in a cool, dry spot when it isn't being worn.
